Family Medical Practice

Dr. David Yamamoto grew up on a family farm in the Seattle area. He received his medical degree from the University of Washington in 1977 and completed a residency and teaching fellowship in family practice at the University of Buffalo. He moved to Colorado in 1981 where he took a position as an emergency room physician in Aspen. He has been working in family practice and occupational medicine in the Denver area since 1985. He opened Peak to Peak Family Practice, P.C. in 2002. He is board certified in family practice and has a special interest in: occupational medicine, sports medicine, anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, and pain conditions including back and spine pain.

He is an avid tennis player and skier and has been racing with Rocky Mountain Masters since 1986. In December of 2005 he and his wife Jean adopted their son Daron from China.
